Welded gabion is mainly used for landslide preventing, engineering of seaside area protecting, water or flood controlling or guiding, strengthening structure of soil, landscaping and retaining walls, etc.
Welded gabion filled with stone, gabion boxes provide an aesthetic method for retaining earth or controlling soil erosion. As a method for retaining earth, gabion box are stacked atop one another to form retaining walls, culvert headwalls, bridge abutments or bridge wing walls. Erosion control uses involve laying boxes or mattresses side-by-side on the ground to develop channel lining, bank protection, weirs and drop structures.Gabion box is essentially wire box. Each box is filled with stones and joined together with steel rings. Gabion box can be used in a range of applications from small domestic projects to large industrial schemes.
